This week, Walgreens is having a BOGO 50% on Jordana cosmetics!

So I decided to pick up some of my favorite INCOLOR Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner, of course I picked up a few more things that I didn’t need. HAHA.

Review: Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer & A small update :)

After seeing Essiebutton’s rave about the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer, I thought why not give it a try.

Love is such a strong word and I don’t use it often. But oh man, I love it!

First time around, I got it in “Light” after I color matched myself at superdrug. It was a good match back in mid June. I must have gotten lighten after my Bermuda tan faded. So this time around when I was in London, I picked up another one in “Fair”.

Yes, that’s how much I love it!

It covers blemishes like no others (I don’t conceal my under eyes/dark circles and whatnot, not because I dont have them but I just dont like the look of having conceal under my eyes). It does wear off after a few hours but it wears off beautifully (if you know what I mean). Concealers can look patches and nasty on me after a while, but this one is an exception!

I’m so glad that I gave it a try, and it has became a stable! YAYAY 🙂

Personal Updates:

Last time I went back to Cali, my friends and family have been telling me that I’ve change. They told me that I’m much more patient now. Is that a good thing? HAHA. My friend was trying to troll/annoy me for an hour or two, and he was like “why are you not getting annoy or mad?” I thought it was the funniest thing ever.

Oh man, what has this job done to me? Or maybe I’m just getting old.. that now I know how to deal with stress better HAHA!

After all, it is a customer service job. Customers are always right no matter what, so why let them bother me when I know I only have to deal with them for that couple of hours, and the fact I may or may not see them ever again in my life.

What’s amazing and crazy about this job is that I don’t work with the same people every time. Don’t get me wrong, work is not always fun -even thought this job is fun :). I have worked with some crazy people before, and all I had to do was to take a deep breathe, wipe away my tears (long story), and just keep smiling.

There are a lot of ups and downs doing this job. And it is going to be the same no matter which field I’m in. Crazy people are everywhere, but there are a lot more nicer people out there.

I don’t know where this is getting to, all I’m saying is that nothing can bother you if you don’t let them. simple as that. 🙂

Finally got my hands on the Caudalie Divine Oil set front sephora, what’s even better is that i got it on sale! I paid $32 (orginally $42) for a 1.7 oz Divine Oil, 1.7 oz Crushed Cabernet Scrub, and a shotglass size candle.

I heard a lot of good things about the divine oil from essiebutton on youtube and decided to give it a try. To be honest, the divine oil is a splurge item for me, it did nothing more than baby oil can do, except it smells a little nicer and more luxury. I have yet to try it on my hair, but i felt it’s such a waste every time i spray it because most of it will land on the floor instead of my body..

The Scrub is quite nice, but nothing special. The scrub particles are quite large but not rough. Leaving skin nice and soft afterward. Again, i wouldn’t want to pay the $29 for the full size.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Classic Double-Ended Brow Sculpting Brush

Mini Review: this brush retails for $18 at sephora. seems like it’s currently out of stock right now, but you can find this brush at most sephora stores and sephora inside jcpenney locations. i hate this brush with a passion. hate is a strong word and i dont use it often but dang this brush is scratchy as heck! first of all, the brow filler brush part, it’s synthetic bristles, so if you’re planning to use it with brow powders, it does NOT place powder evenly on your brow. i havent try it with brow gel, i’d assume it works better with cream/gel products. well, now you have uneven brows, you would probably want to brush/even them out with the spoolie. let me tell you, it is so painful to use the spoolie. it’s hard, plastic-y, rough, scratchy, etc. it felt like i rubbed sandpaper on my brows when i use the spoolie part. for $18, not worth it. i returned it!

Mini Review: natural bristles, distribute brow powder evenly, deposits a fair amount of color (deposits much less than sephora’s classic brow brush #10 for a more natural look), retails for $14 and it is now on sale for $5 at sephora.com. it’s a great buy! the brush is lightweight and the handle is rather long and skinny. probably not the best brush to travel with but i love it regardless. I even got a backup! 🙂

Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse

Mini Review: natural bristles, distribute brow powder evenly, average spoolie, retails for $28 with the brow mousse. grab it while you can, cause this product has not hit the stores yet and it always sells out online.  it’s a great deal if you don’t already have a brow powder/gel/mousse. the only down side is that you cant get the brush by itself, and very limited color selection on the brow mousses.

Happy 2013! Rebecca Minkoff mini mac haul/review, updates, 2013 count down

happy 2013 everyone!

my friends and i went to downtown disney in Anaheim CA, of course i did some damage and got a few things at sephora. sigh* remember i said no haul for a while? well i lied. lol

before i leave to houston i got my rebecca minkoff mini mac in the mail. i was in time to use the 25% off coupon code on bloomingdales.com! and after 2 weeks of using it, i must say i love it!

there is no zip pockets/cellphone slots in this clutch. i believe the older version came with pockets, which can be helpful but it doesnt really bother me for not having any.

this clutch is perfect for a night out. it fits my keys, phone, wristlet/wallet, cardholder, lip blam, and still have plenty of room left.

one thing i gotta say about this clutch is that the interior fabric is quite rough. the material felt like some kind of cheap $1 bandana you can find at walmart.

call me crazy but my kate spade bag’s interior was very silky and soft. and yes it makes a different. lol

other than that, the leather still need time to soften up. but i heard it’ll get buttery soft after a few months of use. excited! hehe
